Situated in the narrow strip that is Central America, bounded by the Pacific Ocean on one side, and the Caribbean on the other, these two countries are both stunningly beautiful with a wealth of flora and fauna. Costa Rica is also one of the most adventurous countries in Central America offering adrenaline junkies the ultimate thrill, whether it be zip-lining, white-water rafting, scuba diving, mountain biking, or even waterfall rappelling!
Nicaragua has emerged from years of political and military turmoil to become one of the friendliest and most welcoming countries in Central America. Add to this natural disasters such as earthquakes, volcanic eruptions and hurricanes and it is a miracle that Nicaragua has retained its history and culture. But it has! And it's people are proud to show it to you - always with a smile and a friendly "hola".
